Caminar bajo los muros de 20 metros de Kuélap en la niebla matutina. La ingeniería de los Chachapoyas sigue desafiando el tiempo y las nubes. Salida guiada explicando arquitectura circular.
Día 2 de expedición hacia la Laguna de los Cóndores. Selva de neblina virgen, barro en las botas y la recompensa de los mausoleos intactos sobre el acantilado.
Entre helechos gigantes y orquídeas silvestres hacia la caída de Yumbilla (895m). Un rincón de paz absoluta donde casi nunca encontramos aglomeraciones.
Paso de altura hacia el valle del Utcubamba. La preparación y el ritmo adecuado lo son todo en montaña. Listo para guiar al siguiente grupo de aventureros.
La caída de casi 1,000 metros del Cañón del Sonche. Un espectáculo geológico que visitamos respetando las tradiciones alfareras de la comunidad de Huancas.
